Mike brings over 25 years in communications and security to his role at Security Specialists. He started in the industry on the tools working as a communications technician and then as a security technician. He originally joined Security Specialists in 2011 for several years, before moving onto other businesses where he worked in various management roles, managing staff and nationwide projects. He re-joined Security Specialists as the Auckland Manager in October 2019. 

The Auckland branch of Security Specialist has real strengths in its offerings around security, data and communications. Creating an environment where staff, as well as customers, can lean in for support is important for Mike. He has been managing teams for over 25 years and brings a strong background in health and safety to the business. He enjoys the autonomy he has within his role as Auckland Manager and, most of all, has pride in the fantastic team he works with.

Coming from a hands-on background means Mike has a good appreciation for what it’s like to be on-the-job and has a strong focus on quality workmanship. Working with Security Specialists over the span of a decade means Mike has built some great long-standing relationships with customers. The trust built with customers is rewarding, knowing that they feel that the Security Specialists team will give them sound advice and quality solutions for their projects.
